Questions

What does preparation look like?

It is a spacious and thorough conversation. We move through your personal history together and take time with what matters most. I want to know your story, where you have been, what you are carrying, and what you are reaching toward.

What is psychedelic integration?

Integration is how an experience becomes a life. It is the honest, sometimes slow work of understanding what arose, feeling what was difficult all the way through, and letting insight land not just in the mind but in the body and in the way you move through the world. The expanded state can open doors that have long been closed. Integration is how you learn to live in the rooms behind them. Without it even the most profound experience can fade or stay suspended, vivid but untranslated. This is the work I find most meaningful.

What does somatic mean and why does it matter?

Somatic simply means of the body. Somatic work pays attention to physical sensations, breath, and the nervous system as pathways into understanding and healing. The body often speaks first and loudest, holding emotion, memory, and wisdom that words have not yet found. My Hakomi training means I am tracking and accompanying what arises in the body during these experiences.

Do I need a guide for my experience?

Not everyone does. But most people find that having a skilled, caring presence changes the experience in ways that are hard to overstate. A guide is there so that you do not have to hold yourself and witness yourself at the same time, so that you can go further, stay longer in what is difficult, and trust that someone grounded is beside you.

Is psychedelic therapy legal in Seattle and Washington State?

Seattle decriminalized the personal use of psychedelics in 2021 for spiritual, healing, and personal growth purposes. Washington State does not currently have a licensed psilocybin framework like Oregon’s, so the landscape here remains in a legal gray area for facilitated experiences. Ketamine is the one exception, fully legal and available through clinics and telehealth providers across Washington State. I encourage everyone exploring this space to do their own research and make the decisions that feel right for them.

Can I work with you if I have already had a ketamine treatment?

Absolutely. Sometimes people find that something feels incomplete after an experience at a clinic. Perhaps there was an opening and they want to work with what emerged. I offer preparation and integration sessions specifically designed to complement ketamine treatment. I simply help you make the most of what the medicine has already opened.

Do I have to tell you what substance I used?

No. What matters is what came up for you and what you need support with now. I work with the person and the experience. Whatever you share will be held with care and complete confidentiality. You will not be judged here.

Do you prescribe or administer ketamine?

No. Ketamine is prescribed and administered by licensed medical clinicians. My role is non-clinical. I offer compassionate, skilled support before, during, and after your session so that you arrive prepared, feel genuinely cared for throughout, and have somewhere meaningful to take what the experience opens.

What is the difference between at-home ketamine and a clinic?

Clinic-based ketamine is administered by medical staff, typically through an IV, injection, or nasal spray, in a supervised clinical environment. At-home ketamine programs use a dissolvable lozenge prescribed by a clinician and taken in your own space. Both are legal and both involve a licensed prescriber. The right choice depends on your health history, your intentions, and what kind of setting feels right for you, and is best made in consultation with your prescribing clinician. Either way, preparation and integration support can meaningfully deepen what becomes possible.

Where are you located and do you offer virtual sessions?

I am based in Seattle, Washington and offer in-person sessions in the Seattle area, including Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, and the greater Eastside. I also work virtually with clients throughout Washington State.
